Assault at Guildford Nightclub – Witnesses Sought

Surrey Police is investigating an assault outside a Guildford nightclub earlier this month which left a man seriously injured.

Police were called following reports of a fight which broke out amongst a group of people outside the Casino nightclub near the exit onto Bedford Road around 3.30am on August 2.

The victim was punched in the face during the altercation and was treated at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford for his injuries.

Police officers are appealing for any information in relation to the incident.

PC Matt Lloyd, the investigating officer, said: “The victim suffered serious injuries as a result of this incident and we are trying to piece together the circumstances which led up to the fight breaking out.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any other information which could assist our enquiries and help us identify the offender.”
