Internal Investigation Under Way At The Electric Theatre

The Electric Theatre.

A member of staff was escorted from their workplace at The Electric Theatre today (Thursday, October 18) according to unconfirmed reports. Guildford Borough Council subsequently issued the following statement:

“Following a complaint by a member of staff at The Electric Theatre, our Internal Audit team have been conducting an investigation. We cannot predict the outcome of this or any disciplinary actions that might follow if they are necessary. We can make no further comment about these confidential staff matters at this time.

“The Electric Theatre will continue to operate and we have engaged interim management provided by HQ Theatres, who also manage G Live on our behalf. They have agreed to help deliver the theatre’s existing programme of entertainment and shows.”
