Missing Fairlands Woman Found Safe And Well

Surrey Police this evening reported that the Guildford woman who went missing earlier today (Monday, October 15) has been found safe and well.

Jane Guidice, 72, from Fairlands was spotted by a member of the public at the Tesco store in Ashenden Road this evening.

A police helicopter was used in the search for Jane Guidice from Fairlands.

Earlier a police helicopter was used in the search. It was seen hovering over the Whitmoor Common area at about 4.30pm this afternoon.

Mrs Guidice was reported missing by her family just after 1pm. She was last seen by her carers at 8.35am.

At the time of her disappearance the police said that Mrs Guidice takes several different types of medication and not taking one of them could cause her condition to deteriorate.

Members of the public were urged to report any sightings of a woman matching her description as a matter of urgency.

Officers thanked members of the public and the media for their assistance in this matter.
