With 11 days to go before the Olympic Flame reaches Guildford on its way to the 2012 London Games, you may be wondering who’s carrying the torch on the route through Guildford.

The flame arrives by car from Godalming near to the roundabout by Guildford Cathedral on Friday afternoon, July 20. The routes then follows The Chase and Guildford Park Road to the town centre, before continuing along London Road to Stoke Park where there is a special afternoon and evening event. All 25,000 tickets for this have now been issued.

However, people are urged to line the streets to watch the flame go past.
