Visit Santa By Bike Or On Foot For A Fun Festive Event With A Difference

Motivate Stoke, a project that works with local people to discuss, socialise, and make steps towards sustainable travel as a community, is hosting a fun festive event with a difference.

It takes place on Saturday, December 12, from 11am to 4pm, at the Lockwood Arts Centre, Westfield Road, on the Slyfield Indsutrail Estate, Guildford GU1 1RR

And if you like cycling or walking it’s right up your street!

On the day the Motivate Stoke team will be presenting:

A travel-tastic winter wonderland – find out why travel is easy without the car.

For local families, groups and individuals – get on your push bikes or walk, to join in the celebrations. Play games, enter competitions, music and refreshments.

Help the team GPS map the best off-road routes using its action camera, then upload to You Tube.

Make a pledge and keep fit for Christmas.

Training opportunities, diary room and free gifts.

Have your photo taken in a classic Sinclair C5 car.

Free bike doctor – giving repair tips.

Free children’s bikes (limited supply) and special offers on reconditioned bikes.

Free bike security marking – courtesy of the Joining In! project.

Free claymation / stop frame animation workshop.

Go with your bike and children get to visit Santa for a really cool free gift!

The Lockwood Arts Centre is easy to find, off the A320 Woking Road.

Access by footpath and cycle lane. Bus service: nos 34 and 35.

Disabled parking and full access on site.
