A man has died after being in collision with a lorry in Onslow Street, Guildford, this afternoon (December 3).
Surrey Police report that the incident took place in a loading bay and the pedestrian who died is believed to be in his 40s.
Emergency services including paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance and the air ambulance service were in attendance and the man was declared dead at the scene.
An investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident is under way.

Surrey Police is also appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Shere on Wednesday, December 2.
Shortly after 10.30pm a blue Seat Leon was travelling on the A25 from Dorking towards Guildford when the vehicle left the carriageway at the nearside and rolled several times before colliding with trees.
Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service quickly attended the location but the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, a man believed to be in his late teens, was declared dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed in both directions while investigators examined the scene.

There was a serious collision involving two vehicles on the A324 Pirbright Road, near Pirbright on Monday, December 1, just after noon.
The accident involved a Dodge Caliber and a red Mercedes 18-ton flat-back lorry.
A man was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting by air ambulance where he is stable but in a serious condition.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision or who has any information relating to the incident.
Road closures were in place while emergency services were in attendance.
