It’s that time of year again! Members of Merrow Dramatic Society have been working hard rehearsing their annual pantomime and family favourite Ali Baba is nearly here!
Written by local legend Arthur Reed the MDS pantos are traditional, full of Guildford jokes, lots of singing, dancing and most importantly lots of fun! You can cheer the hero and boo the baddie to your heart’s content.
The show runs from January 28 to 30 at Merrow Village Hall with evening performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets are £8 for adults and £6 for children and can be booked by ringing the lovely Pat on 01483 570621.
Director Dan Bundy said: “The MDS panto is known for being energetic, interactive and family friendly and we promise Ali Baba will be just that.
“With a great mix of existing and new members plus a junior chorus from local schools the cast are very excited and can’t wait to get on the stage.
“The Merrow pantomime is the perfect colourful way to spend a grey January evening so book now to avoid disappointment as we do sell out – and tickets have already been magically disappearing.”
