A patriotic partry was held at Guildford’s Holiday Inn on Wednesday (April 20) to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
It also raised more than £1,000 for the British Heart Foundation.
Organised by Shirley West BEM, she said: “What a great party for our Queen. Everyone had a fun time.
“The Holiday Inn did us so proud and their support to me and the British Heart Foundation was amazing. I thank ther hotel’s mananger Louisa Green.
“There were over 110 people who came long including our very own dear friend Bill Bellerby. I think him for attending.
“Entertainment was by Jonty, two great girl singers who took us back over the years of the Queen’s reign.
“We toasted Her Majesty and sang her Happy Birthday, and enjoyed a lovely birthday cake that was cut by the Mayor of Guildford, Nikki Nelson-Smith.
“What a sight to see all those flags being waved as we sang God Save The Queen and Land Of Hope and Glory.
