Did You Witness Large Group of Men Fighting in Guildford?

police vestA man and a woman who attempted to break up a large fight in Guildford were both assaulted and suffered minor facial injuries.

The fight broke out at around 3.30am, Sunday  April 24, between a number of males in a large group of people on Woodbridge Road opposite Leas Road.

Surrey police officers are now seeking witnesses.

Detective Constable Leon Foster, said: “I would like to hear from those people who were part of the group or witnessed the events”.

“I am also keen to trace a second man who I believe was also assaulted during the incident.”

An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail until Tuesday, May 24 and Wednesday, May 25 pending further enquiries.
