Appeal for Witnesses to Erratic Driving Between Guildford and Aldershot

Police are appealing for witnesses who saw a Volkswagen Golf being driven erratically between Guildford and Aldershot yesterday afternoon (March 23).

The occupants were three women and a man. The women suffered assault-level injuries during the drive. All involved are known to each other.

The car was a dark-blue Golf with an 03 registration plate and drove after 2pm from Guildford to Aldershot along Farnham Road on to the A3, the A31 and on to the A331, taking the first junction off to Aldershot.

Detective Sergeant Brian Simmonds said: “It would have been obvious to anyone who drove past this vehicle that something might not have been right and we also know that on at least one occasion a member of the public asked if everything was okay when the vehicle was stopped in a layby.

“If you were that person or saw this vehicle and what was happening inside it during the journey, please get in touch with us. And if you think you may have dashcam footage covering that route at that time please let us know.”
