Bluebird Offers Free Coffee And Cake To Raise Funds For Macmillan Cancer Support

Fancy some coffee and cake for a worthy cause in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning? On Wednesday, September 25, Bluebird Care Guildford & Waverley will open their doors to support Macmillan Cancer Support with their own coffee morning.

Macmillan research showed 2.5 million people in the UK were living with cancer in 2017. In 2018, their research suggested more than 1,000 individuals are being diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK

Since the charity’s first coffee morning in 1990, the fundraising events have raised more than £165.5 million. One in every three people will face cancer and the money raised for Macmillan will make sure no one faces cancer alone.

Bluebird is inviting customers and everyone in our local communities to join their team for a coffee morning, from 11am till 3pm, dedicated to raising funds for Macmillan.

Katerina Papamichalaki, director of Bluebird, said: “At Bluebird Care, we support this campaign each year, raising awareness of Macmillan Cancer Support and the incredible work they do.

“We will be providing delicious cake and plenty of coffee so please come along and meet our friendly team, and help us to raise funds for Macmillan.”
