Burpham Wellbeing is an organisation that creates, supports and promotes wellbeing activities and events to empower and enable the community to look after themselves, look after each other and look after the planet.
This Christmas it has created a gift guide to encourage people to buy less, buy local and buy better.
Printing copies of the guide are being distributing in print at community spaces across the borough and it is also available as a free download here
The founder of Burpham Wellbeing, Ruth Stone, said: “We’re also getting local independent small businesses to give special offers which are part of a Big Mouth Guildford Advent calendar campaign and listed on the Burpham Wellbeing Directory.
“And we’re also encouraging people to give by donating to local charities, buying from local charities and participating in a raffle to win two VIP tickets for Taylor Swift at Wembley, with proceeds going to Guildford Action, Matrix Trust and Surrey Hills Baby Clothes library.”
