A dead heat between the Baileys and Bernard Parke who both correctly identified the pictures last time around – the first being the site beside the River Wey at Woodbridge now occupied by Currys and PC World, and second being the village of Shere.

See what you can make of these….
The three-storey building (seen above) is used for the same purpose today as it was when the postcard view was published some 60-odd years ago. For a clue, it’s on the outskirts of Guildford.
On the second postcard (see below) I have included the wording that appears on the card – Treetops Holiday Camp.
It is unlikely to have any connection with Treetops kennels on the Portsmouth Road in Artington.
So where was it? Although I’m sure I know the correct location, any further details about it would be welcome.

No idea on the first one. Treetops. This picture is taken from the staff chalets which overlooked the croquet lawn. The house was the residence of the owners – originally the Merrits and subsequently the Hunts (I think). Located at Farley Green. Had so many happy times there as a child. Often wonder what it is now as there is no sign of it on any website.
We think the first photo is Newlands Corner Hotel (now called Manor House Hotel)
And the second photo we think could be what is now called Surrey Hills Club, Chilworth Road, Albury.
Treetops Holiday Camp was at Farley Green.
Stumped over the house. Is it ‘Newlands’ at Newlands Corner?
