A latest crime round up issued by Surrey Police lists no less than eight incidents that took place in Guildford involving vehicles.
They all occurred over the past few weeks.
Someone used an implement to scratch the side and rear of a car parked in Manor Way, Onslow Village; while a vehicle parked in a car park off Priestley Road at the Surrey Research Park had its number plates stolen.
The rear window of a “luxury car”, parked in Goddard Road, Queen Elizabeth Park, Stoughton, was smashed; and several cars parked in the drive of a house in Aldershot Road suffered “criminal damage”.
In Northway, off Aldershot Road, tools were taken from inside a van. In nearby Lincoln Road a van was broken into, but nothing was stolen.
However, tools, including some power tools, were stolen from vans parked in Pond Meadow and Cabell Road, Park Barn.
Meanwhile, house burglars continue to be active in the Onslow area of Guildford. Two incidents in Scillonian Road have been flagged up by Surrey Police. Firstly, two bicycles were stolen from a shed, and secondly, someone broken into a house by climbing through a window, conducted a search, and then left.
Suspicious incidents can be reported to the police by calling 101. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111.
