A convincing win to end the season, on a coolish rather cloudy day with a bit of a breeze snapping the flag on the castle. Good humour all round and a delicious tea from Janet, Jane and Bill.

In the final of the senior mens’ Tuesday Triples League, the combined Guilford teams beat the combined Woking teams by 2 points (146 to 144). A close run thing! In the individual teams championship the Knaphill club, from the Woking League beat Woodbridge Hill Club from the Guildford League by 35-25. The games were played on Tuesday, September 16, under bright sunshine on the greens of the Guildford and Astolat Bowling clubs.
Castle Green made its contribution to the Guildford area win by beating Cobham by 19-16. The Castle Green team comprised:
