The unusual timing of a winter general election on Thursday, December 12 has forced Guildford Borough Council to make some changes to the usual polling station venues.
A council spokesperson said: “Some of our polling stations are unavailable. We have had to find alternative venues at very short notice to ensure that poll cards with the details of the polling stations can be printed and dispatched to voters in plenty of time.”
The announced changes are:

We have written to all households within the Ockham, Peaslake, Seale & Sands, and Shackleford polling districts to inform them of the changes to their respective polling stations.
Following a recent review, there are also several permanent changes to the venue of other polling stations:
