Child Injured in Road Accident at Wonersh

TQ04NW WonershA four-year-old boy was in collision with a silver Mercedes car this morning (Friday, June 14) in Wonersh.

The incident happened just before 9am outside Wonersh United Reformed Church.

Surrey Police reported that an air ambulance attended the accident and the child was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.

Motorists were advised to avoid the Wonersh Common following a road traffic collision involving a young child and a car this morning. By 12.30pm Surrey Police stated the road had re-opened.

The B2128 Wonersh Common Road (aka King’s Road) was closed between its junctions with Blackheath Lane and The Street.
