Child Murder Trial to Commence

The trial of those accused of the murder of ten-year-old Sara Sharif in Horsell, Woking last year is expected to commence at the Old Bailey in London on October 7.
It is anticipated that jury selection and legal arguments will take about a week with opening statements expected on or about October 14.
The trial is expected to take six weeks.
The accused, Urfan Sharif, Beinash Batool and Faisal Malik, have been held in custody since they were charged on September 15, 2023, once they had returned to the UK from Pakistan.
