Comedy Night This Thursday – Standing Up For Refugees

Stand-up comedy comes to Guildford’s Boileroom in Stoke Fields this Thursday, July 14, in a night raising funds for the Red Cross Europe Refugee Crisis Appeal.

250x350 (1)On the bill at this Stand Up for Labour event is Grainne Maguire, of Radio 4’s The Now Show, Steve Gribbin, from Saturday Night Live, and a regular on the London comedy scene Atilla the Stockbroker, the legendary punk poet, with 3,000 gigs to his name and a string of CDs. The evening is hosted by Crispin Flintoff.

The event is part of Guildford Labour’s response to the refugee crisis which has also included a Refu tea, a social evening and calling on Guildford Borough Council to take in at least two refugee families.
