The theft of a computer containing ‘years of work’ has left a local musician from Guildford Park devastated.

The burglary took place some time between 1am and 3am on Tuesday 11 September at a property on Guildford Park Avenue, Guildford. A 27-inch Apple iMac computer was stolen which contained a wealth of personal music.

Investigating officer DC Mike Taylor said: “The computer’s owner is a musician and had years’ of his work stored on the machine. He is obviously devastated to have lost irreplaceable work.

“The computer is quite large, so it is likely that a vehicle would have been used. I would urge anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area at the time, or who may have come into contact with the computer since it was stolen, to contact us”.

Surrey Police is appealing for information. Anyone who feels they can help should call the Surrey Police non-emergency 101 number, quoting reference GD/12/8311 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
