Correction

In the original version of the article: Comment: Review Could Unlock a Culture Change, But Leaves More Questions Than Answers, it was stated that Cllr Paul Spooner had asked at Guildford Borough Council’s Corporate Governance and Standards meeting why were those interviewed not listed and why had other councillors involved not been spoken to?

In fact, those spoken to were listed on page 12 of the report and Cllr Spooner only asked why had other councillors involved not been spoken to?

We apologise to Cllr Spooner, KPMG and GBC for the inaccuracy.

The article has been corrected.

What about the article stating the report was not marked as a draft?

Admittedly most draft reports have it as a header/footer or even a “watermark”.

But the cover page, reproduced in the article, clearly says “DRAFT”.

Editor’s response: Thank you for pointing this out the cover does indeed say “DRAFT” but it is not in a prominent position and was not seen, possibly a reason why it was published while a draft. We apologies for our error. We have amended the article appropriately.
