The Covid vaccination centre at G Live in Guildford is relocating to George Abbot School, Woodruff Avenue, Burpham.
Vaccinations at G Live in London Road, will cease on Saturday, July 31, while the temporary centre at George Abbot School (GU1 1XX) opens on Thursday, July 29, through to Friday, August 27, from 8am to 7pm daily.
It will then relocate to the Artington park and ride site, on the Old Portsmouth Road GU1 1LP, from Wednesday, September 1, until the end of February 2022.
Procare Health Ltd (based in Haslemere) has been operating Covid vaccinations centres across the boroughs of Guildford and Waverley and says: “The vaccination programme has been housed in G Live since January 2021 and has been the sole site since Cranleigh and Haslemere [sites] closed just after lockdown 1 was lifted.”
Thanking staff and volunteers, Procare adds: “The success of the Guildford and Waverley vaccination programme has been down to its great team and everyone has made a terrific impact from our volunteers, reception, admin, booking and vaccination colleagues, not to mention our cake makers.”
