Guildford’s Christmas lights

With Christmas quickly approaching, local charity Phyllis Tuckwell is inviting families on a magical tour of some of the best displays of festive lights in the area. With their map, you can drive from house to house, enjoying the twinkling fairy lights, sparkling Santas and shimmering stars.

Phyllis Tuckwell has joined together some of the best home Christmas light displays across West Surrey and North East Hampshire. Simply visit the Phyllis Tuckwell website here to download the map, and plan your preferred route. The light displays will be on until December 31.

“This year has been a really difficult time for everyone, and we wanted to bring everybody a bit of festive cheer this Christmas,” said Charli Quay-Barnham, community fundraising manager at Phyllis Tuckwell.

“We hope our Christmas Lights Tour will allow families to enjoy these wonderful creative displays across the area. And we’d be really grateful if visitors who enjoy the displays could support the homeowners’ festive fundraising this year by making a donation to Phyllis Tuckwell.”

The tour is provided free of charge, but any donation you can make will go directly towards helping fund the vital care the charity provides for local patients and families living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.

You can make a £3 donation to Phyllis Tuckwell by texting ‘TWINKLE’ to 70300 or visit their online donation page with Just Giving, details of which can be found on the map.
