James Whiteman, the Managing Director of Guildford Borough Council, talking from his office in Millmead, explains to Martin Giles how the borough council have had to quickly adapt to deal with the Coronavirus crisis.
He stresses how proud he is of all his colleagues and the way they have risen to the tasks facing them, describes some of the changed ways of working and outlines how he liaises with other councils and agencies, on a daily basis, to ensure that everything necessary is being done.
