Carl Taylor took over as team manager at Guildford City before this season started bringing considerable experience from previous football management roles at a range of clubs.

The Dragon editor, himself a City supporter, caught up with him after Saturday’s game (September 7) to find out how Carl thought things were going this season.

Martin Giles asks Carl: what attracted him to the City manager’s job, how important is money on this level on non-league football, is it a handicap for the club not to have its own ground and what should supporters regard as success this season?
