A fourth person has been arrested after a man was found with serious facial injuries in a multi-storey car park stairwell in Guildford.
A 22-year-old woman from Guildford and a 33-year-old man and a 36-year-old man of no fixed address, were arrested on Sunday, August 4 in connection with the incident, which took place in the York Road car park, Guildford between 9pm on Friday, August 2 and 5am on Saturday, August 3.
A further arrest was made this morning (Thursday, August 8) of a 31-year-old man from Woking.
All four have been released on bail, pending further enquiries, to return to Guildford police station on September 6.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was found by a security guard on level 5 of the car park on York Road around 5.20am on Saturday, August 3.
He was treated by ambulance crews at the scene and was taken to hospital for treatment to a possible fractured eye socket and broken jaw.
Detectives continue to appeal to anyone who has information on how the man received his injuries and anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference GD/13/6675 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
