G Live will be dishing up a smorgasbord of entertainment this autumn for all ages, tastes and humours.
Alvin Hargreaves, G Live’s Venue Director commented: “The 2014 G Live autumn season marks the beginning of the venue’s fourth year of operation. No longer the new kid on the block!”
Their autumnal menu includes: comedy, ballet, folk music, opera and orchestra to fill up your dark evenings. Headline shows by Lisa Stansfield and Michael Palin are already sold out but well known TV names such as Dawn French and John Cleese, as well as new and emerging talent, fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival are lined up to entertain the Guildford audience.
Even Guildford’s little people are catered for with Ceebies’, Octonauts, Champions of Magic and Comedy Club 4 Kids.
When asked how they attract the acts and performers to G Live, Alvin Hargreaves said “G Live is very much established within the eyes of the music and entertainment industries as a highly professional venue in a great location with bags of market potential.
“Couple this with superb acoustics, highly flexible spaces and great production values and it’s not hard to see why G Live has been such a hit so early in its life.”
The venue has been thinking ahead to the festive season, even if we can’t bring ourselves to do so quite yet, and will be hosting a performance of the Nutcracker ballet. They offer plenty of space to host Guildford’s Christmas office parties.
The Guildford Dragon NEWS will be reviewing the Hellfire Comedy club on September 24th – G Lives monthly curry dinner and comedy club.
