Gag House Comedy Club’s first comedy night to support the Mayor of Guildford’s charities raised in the region of £1,000 towards the Surrey Hills Trust Fund and the Surrey Cancer Research Institute.

The Mayor, Cllr Gordon Jackson, said: “I would like to say a huge thank you to Nick Wyschna for putting on such a fabulous event. The audience was howling with laughter and everyone had a great time, whilst raising much-needed money for my charities.“

Gag House and Guildford Fringe Theatre Company director Nick Wyschna, added: “It was great to see so many people thoroughly enjoying the evening for two great causes. We had a brilliant line up and it was a pleasure to be working with such a proactive mayor, who really cares about the arts community in Guildford.”
