The community warden team of Guildford Borough Council is pleased and proud of the Guildford Games event it organised. The team said: “It was a great success and we are very grateful to our community groups and partner agencies for their support and commitment.

“It was definitely hard work but worth it! Under the council’s initiative of Project Aspire, the warden team want to reinforce to our local communities that that ‘Every Person Matters’. Guildford Games did just that and promoted a community focus on health and wellbeing.

“We are so pleased with the positive feedback we have received and the fact that many local people came along to the event and saw what is available within the community to help them feel happier and healthier.”
