Children and staff at Bright Horizons Guildford day nursery and preschool at Surrey University dressed in yellow for the day to raise awareness of young people struggling with mental health issues.

The children read stories which discussed feelings and also held their own discussion on emotions, as they raised funds for the mental health cause.

“They also did some drawings using emotion masks to talk about what makes us happy or sad,” said deputy nursery manager Lan Nguyen.
