Guildford City host local rivals Chertsey Town on ‘non league day’ on Saturday, 6th September at the Spectrum. The club message to potential supporters is: “There is no other football on that’s worth watching, so get yourself down to the Spectrum for what should be a great afternoon.”
The club will be unveiling the brand new home kit by Team-Tops for the 2014-15 season, complete with their charity partners logo on the back of the shirt.
City’s charity this year is the halow project, a Guildford base charity that helps young adults with learning difficulties, to live independent lives. The halow project mascot will also be making appearance on the day, in his very own Guildford City football kit.
On the day, some local dignitaries are expected, including the Mayor of Guildford, Cllr David Elms and a number of youth team members, guests, clients and trustees of the halow project. Plus, hopefully, a number of sponsors advertisers and the committee members of the club.
After the match attendees will retire to their spiritual home at 73 Joseph’s Road, Guildford for drinks and a BBQ complete with music & lights.
So we look forward to welcoming everyone to the Spectrum.
