Faisal Fazeli, 29, of Shepherds Hill, Stoughton has been sentenced to a total of 6.5 years in jail for the supply of illegal drugs.
He was arrested on August 19, 2022 when police officers were called to reports of a fight at a house in Guildford.
They discovered Fazeli, who was seemingly eager to leave the house and avoid police questioning. The reason for this became clear when they discovered he was wanted by Thames Valley Police.
Following his arrest, officers searched Fazeli’s home address and discovered four kilograms of cannabis, wraps of cocaine, over £1,000 in cash and drugs paraphernalia.
He pleaded guilty to the cannabis offence but claimed the cocaine was for personal use. Hoever following a two-day trial at Guildford Crown Court, Fazeli was found guilty of possession with intent to supply cocaine.
A police expert witness valued the cannabis at a street value of over £40,000 and the cocaine at £2,000.
On February 10, 2023, at Guildford Crown Court, Fazeli was sentenced to a total of 6.5 years for possession of cocaine with intent to supply and two counts of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
A police spokesperson added: “Fazeli’s ill-gotten gains were confiscated by the court. The illegal drugs and paraphernalia will be sent for destruction.”
