Guildford Parkrun Results August 10, 2013

This week there were 167 runners, of whom 33 were first timers and 63 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 11 different athletics clubs took part.

Men’s placings:
Ben EVANS (SM30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first over the line in 17:28 – seventh time in 10 appearances.
Jason HARRIS (VM40-44) of Woking AC, was second over the line in 17:39 – was first to finish once before.
Lewis PEACOCK (SM20-24) (Unattached) was third over the line in 18:06.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (Unattached) 1,565 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (Unattached) 1,464 pts.
Glenn MORRIS (Dorking & Mole Valley AC) 1,371 pts.

Women’s placings:
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first (14th overall) over the line in 20:04 – first time in 11 appearances.
Hannah MORRIS (JW14) of Dorking & Mole Valley AC, was second (30th overall) over the line in 21:48 – was first to finish once before.
Susanna HARRISON (VW50-54) of Woking AC, was third (35th overall) over the line in 22:21 – has been first to finish on eight previous occasions.

Current standing in the women’s annual points competition:

Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 1,656 pts.
Julia BONILLA (unattached) 1,514 pts.
Debbie AITKEN (Purple Patch Runners) 1,397 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:

Michael Thomas WAINE (VM55-59) was graded 79.56% for the time 19:39 (12th overall).
Jason HARRIS (VM40-44) was graded 77.90% for the time 17:39 (second overall).
Anthony ALDRED (VM65-69) was graded 76.33% for the time 22:11 (34th overall).

Guildford parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 2,062 different runners, including participants from 152 athletics clubs, have completed 7,717 runs covering a total distance of 38,585 km, and there have been 1,707 new personal bests.

The women’s course record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The men’s course record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).
