In his first run at Guidford Daniel Hunt was first over the line this week. Nikki Sandwell of Littledown Harriers was the first woman to cross the finish line. In total, 191 runners took part.
Men’s placings:
Daniel HULL (SM30-34) (unattached, ie not a member of an athletics club) was first over the line in 17:59 – first appearance.
Robert HARDY (SM30-34) (unattached) was second over the line in 18:31.
Rod SAXBY (VM45-49) of Cranleigh Tortoise & Hare Runners, was third over the line in 18:35.
Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (unattached) 1,369 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (unattached) 1,191 pts.
David WOODCOCK (unattached) 1,102 pts.
Women’s placings:
Nikki SANDELL (VW35-39) of Littledown Harriers RC, was first (11th overall) over the line in 20:01 – second time in three appearances.
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) of Woking AC, was second (16th overall) over the line in 20:29 – Has been first to finish on two previous occassions.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was third (21st overall) over the line in 21:00.

Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 1,376 pts.
Julia BONILLA (unattached) 1,263 pts.
Debbie AITKEN (unattached) 1,213 pts.
The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Julian SPENCER-WOOD (VM60-64) was graded 80.51 % for the time 20:16 (13th overall).
James FLEMING (JM14) was graded 76.92 % for the time 18:51 (fifth overall).
Rod SAXBY (VM45-49) was graded 76.86 % for the time 18:35 (third overall).
This week there were 191 runners, of whom 39 were first timers and 60 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 24 different athletics clubs took part.
Guildford parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 1,952 different runners, including participants from 151 athletics clubs, have completed 7,071 runs covering a total distance of 35,355 km, and there have been 1,554 new personal bests.
The women’s course record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The men’s course record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41 % run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).

Due to the music festival taking place at Stoke Park, there will no parkruns on Saturday, July 13, when he festival is taking place, and also Saturday, July 6, when setting up for it will be in progress.
