Guildford Parkrun Results, Saturday May 18

Another new female course record was set with Katherine Philip of Garden City Runners crossing the line in 18 minutes 46 seconds. She was the third runner home in the event that took place in Stoke Park. A total of 170 runners took part.

Men’s placings:
An unknown runner was first.
Daniel WALLIS (JM15-19) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second over the line in 18:21 – Has been first to finish on four previous occassions.
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (SM30-34) (Unattached) was third (4th overall) over the line in 18:54 – Was first to finish once before.

Current standing in the Men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (Unattached) 1081 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (Unattached) 919 pts.
David WOODCOCK (Unattached) 785 pts.

Women’s placings:
Katherine PHILP (SW30-34) of Garden City Runners, was first (third overall) over the line in 18:46 – second time in two appearances.
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) of Woking AC, was second (11th overall) over the line in 20:02 – Has been first to finish on two previous occassions.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was third (20th overall) over the line in 21:03.

Current standing in the Women’s annual points competition:
Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 915 pts.
Julia BONILLA (Unattached) 870 pts.
Debbie AITKEN (Unattached) 769 pts.

The following runners recorded the best Age Grade scores:
Katherine PHILP (SW30-34) was graded 79.40 % for the time 18:46 (third overall).
Susanna HARRISON (VW50-54) was graded 77.38 % for the time 21:40 (26th overall).
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) was graded 76.79 % for the time 20:02 (11th overall).

This week there were 170 runners, of whom 22 were first timers and 56 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 15 different athletics clubs took part.

Guildford parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 1,777 different runners, including participants from 144 athletics clubs, have completed 6,159 runs covering a total distance of 30,795 km, and there have been 1,321 new personal bests.

The Women’s course record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The Men’s course record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).
The Age Grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41 % run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).

Note: there will be no run next week due to Stoke Park being made ready for the Surrey County Show on bank holiday Monday.
