This week there were 159 runners, of whom 23 were first timers and 38 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 12 different athletics clubs took part.

Men’s placings:
Matthew REES (JM15-19) of Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, was first over the line in 17:45 – fourth time in six appearances.
An unknown runner was second.
Chris FINILL (VM50-54) of Harrow AC, was third over the line in 18:05.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (Unattached) 1,941 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (Unattached) 1,833 pts.
David WOODCOCK (Unattached) 1,669 pts.

Women’s placings:
Katherine PHILP (SW30-34) of Garden City Runners, was first (11th overall) over the line in 19:54 – seventh time in seven appearances.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second (12th overall) over the line in 20:13 – has been first to finish on three previous occasions.
Lizzie SQUIBBS (JW14) of Aldershot, Farnham & District AC, was third (16th overall) over the line in 21:08.

Current standing in the women’s annual points competition:
Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 2,200 pts.
Julia BONILLA (Unattached) 1,976 pts.
Susanna HARRISON (Woking AC) 1,664 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Chris FINILL (VM50-54) was graded 84.24% for the time 18:05 (third overall).
Lizzie SQUIBBS (JW14) was graded 75.55% for the time 21:08 (16th overall).
Anthony ALDRED (VM65-69) was graded 74.87% for the time 22:37 (30th overall).

Guildford parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 2,192 different runners, including participants from 156 athletics clubs, have completed 8,532 runs covering a total distance of 42,660 km, and there have been 1,894 new personal bests.

The women’s course record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The men’s course record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).
