There were 256 runners at Guildford Parkrun on Saturday, making it the highest attendance so far. Of those 55 were first timers and 105 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 24 different athletics clubs took part.

Men’s placings:
Daniel FARLEY (JM15-17) of Woking AC, was first over the line in 18:07 – first time in 36 appearances.
Colin HIGH (SM25-29) (Unattached) was second over the line in 18:18.
Rod SAXBY (VM45-49) of Cranleigh Tortoise & Hare Runners, was third over the line in 18:20.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Trevor WOOD (unattached) 457 pts.
Tom SCOTT (unattached) 424 pts.
Justin MITCHELL (Woking AC) 398 pts.

Women’s placings:
Eleanor HARRISON (SW18-19) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first (10th overall) over the line in 19:32 – 17th time in 29 appearances.
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second (17th overall) over the line in 20:22 – has been first to finish on 5 previous occasions.
Susanna HARRISON (VW50-54) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was third (28th overall) over the line in 21:14 – has been first to finish on 10 previous occasions.

Current standing in the women’s annual points competition:
Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 443 pts.
Kathryn PURCELL (Gloucester AAC) 436 pts.
Hannah MORRIS (Dorking & Mole Valley AC) 393 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Susanna HARRISON (VW50-54) was graded 79.91% for the time 21:14 (28th overall).
Anthony ALDRED (VM65-69) was graded 78.15% for the time 21:40 (31st overall).
Rod SAXBY (VM45-49) was graded 77.91% for the time 18:20 (third overall).

The women’s record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 00:18:46 on May 18, 2013, (event number 60).
The men’s record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 00:15:30 on April 7, 2012, (event number 5).
The Age Grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013, (event number 57).
