Guildford Rugby Club Has A New Sponsor

Guildford Rugby Club has a new sponsor, Chandlers Roofing Supplies.

The club, that has been located on the Guildford Road at Broadwater near Godalming since is 2003, is a neighbour of Chandlers.

It adds that Chandlers is the largest roofing supplies branch in the South East. And since it opened its doors 12 months ago, the branch has been committed to supporting the rugby club.

The commercial and sponsorship manager, of the rugby club, Sarah White, said: “Sponsors are key to the ongoing success of our club. The support of Chandlers Roofing Supplies, from shirt sponsorship to pitch-side boards and flags, makes a big difference to the social and financial health of the club.”

Guildford Rugby Club adds that it is now boasts a membership of in excess of 600 minis and youth players and is dedicated to its players’ physical and mental heath wellbeing.

Chandlers’ branch manager Jamie Costigan said: “We are always keen to support our local community and we didn’t have to look far to find the perfect sponsorship opportunity with the local rugby club.

“Guildford is a very active club and it’s great seeing our sponsorship supporting grass roots sports in the town.”

The 17,500 sq ft roofing supplies branch opened in early 2021 following “a multi-million pound investment in the premises at Peasmarsh”.

It says it offers more than 600,000 roofing products with a unique drive-through service.
