Police in Waverley have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to an attempted theft of property in Milford.
The man shown is described as white, aged between his late twenties and early thirties and of a medium muscular build. He has short blond hair, cut in a straight square fashion, blue eyes and a square chin.
His skin is described as ‘rough looking’ and he was clean shaven. The man wore a blue t-shirt with an YSL logo and a black tattoo was visible on his right arm. He spoke with a Surrey accent.
Officers are currently investigating a report in which a teenage girl was approached by a man who then tried to steal her iPhone. The incident happened in Rake Lane at around 3.35pm on Thursday, 30 April.
Members of the public are asked to call Surrey Police if they recognise or know the whereabouts of the man detailed or if they witnessed the attempted theft.
PC Matt Lloyd investigating said: “If anyone recognises the man pictured, or the man sees or hears this appeal himself, I would urge them to get in touch with officers. This man may have information which could help aid the ongoing investigation.”
