Head to White Lion Walk for Charity Gift Wrap to Help Homeless People

Experience Guildford and willing volunteers are wrapping presents for shoppers in White Lion Walk for a donation to Real Change Guildford.

Real Change helps homeless people access practical items and opportunities they need to build lives away from Guildford’s streets.

It’s about providing the tools to start again after homelessness. That could mean clothes for a job interview, rent money up front or a training course to help them unlock their potential.

The next wrapping sessions will be on Friday and Saturday, December 22 and 23, from 11am to 4pm.

Experience Guildford (the town’s business improvement district) says: “Make your gifts count for more by bringing your presents to White Lion Walk and let volunteers wrap them with love and care.

“There will also be an opportunity for you to buy a personalised bauble for a donation!”

Donations for the charity gift wrap service will go direct to the Real Change Guildford initiative where 85% of all donations goes directly towards the person who needs help, making a real difference to their life.
