High Praise For King College’s Beauty And The Beast

Students at Kings College, Guildford, received high praise from parents and supporters for their outstanding production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

As well as two evening performances, Kings’ neighbouring primary Sschool, Guildford Grove enjoyed an exclusive matinee.

Robert Cann from the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre noted that Kings had “a great show and provide a wonderful  evening of entertainment”.  He was highly impressed with the professionalism of the production.

Beauty and The Beast Photo 1 (1 of 10)To the happy surprise of the audience on the final night of the show, the cast was not restricted to students as vice-principal Mr McKenzie, assistant principals Mr Le-Brun and Mr Hewson, and head of ICT Mr Mitchell, donned their tap shoes and danced to Be My Guest, as guest stars.

“We have some extremely talented young people at Kings and I am delighted that their hard work has been recognised and celebrated so highly by all who attended the show.”
