Vision Zero

In recent years, the annual number of road casualties killed or seriously injured on Surrey’s roads has not reduced. Surrey also has some of the highest numbers of pedestrian and cycling road casualties of any local authority in Great Britain.

Give your views on a new road safety strategy for Surrey which aims to eliminate road collisions resulting in death or serious injury by 2050.

The strategy includes a new policy for introducing 20 mph speed limits. It will not be a blanket approach. Instead, we will focus on residential areas, schools and town centres.

We will listen to the views of local people before we implement any new scheme. Have your say by completing the online questionnaire.
