Send & Ripley History Society’s latest exhibition at its museum takes a look at life in the area during Georgian times
Go and learn about the huge army camp in Send, the Frenchman who was the head of the British Army, the birth of cricket in Ripley, the heyday of the coaching trade and the visit of the renowned artist Turner and more – all in one tiny museum.
The museum is located behind the new Ripley Village Hall and is open on Saturday mornings between 10am and noon. See poster below for more details, click on image to enlarge in a new window.
