Indecent Exposure in Shere – Detectives Appeal for Witnesses

Feature Surrey police badge 3Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure along a riverside in Shere.

The incident happened when a local woman was walking her dog just off Chantry Lane in Shere on Friday, July 25 at around 7.15pm.

A man overtook the dog walker and then exposed himself, stopping when a male jogger approached. The offender made off in the direction of the Albury Park estate.

The suspect is described a 6ft tall man, aged between 25 and 30-years of age, of a medium build with short mousey brown hair. He was wearing a dark pink t-shirt and blue jeans.

Investigating officer David Shaw said: “We searched the vicinity at the time of reporting of this incident and spoke with a number of people using the area but we now we want to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has any more information about it to come forward.”
