Vocalist/lyricist Georgia Mancio and guitarist Nigel Price combine their award-winning talents for a joyous and intimate programme of jazz and latin songs at Jazz Café at the Electric Theatre, Guildford GU1 4SZ, on Wednesday, September 4.
Both regular performers at Ronnie Scott’s Club, their show was initially inspired by the musical partnership of the great jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald and guitar virtuoso Joe Pass.
Georgia’s spellbinding story-telling and fiery Italian/Uruguayan roots are complemented by Nigel’s deep blues groove and and soulful accompaniment, along with highly respected bassist Julie Walkington.

The Jim Mullen Organ trio, comprising three of the UK’s leading jazz exponents, is led by legendary jazz guitarist Jim Mullen with Mike Gorman on organ and Matt Skelton on drums, play the Freeholders in St John’s Street, Farncombe, GU7 3EJ, on Wednesday, September 11.
Jim’s musical approach encompasses a thorough knowledge of jazz with nods towards blues, soul, funk, rock and traditional Scottish music. Performing a richly dynamic set of originals and Mullenised standards, expect a hard swinging evening of melodic, blues-drenched modern jazz.
