Job Opportunity: Young Persons’ Covid-19 Vaccine Lead

Voluntary Action South West Surrey is recruiting a Young Persons’ Covid-19 Vaccine Lead on a one-year fixed term contract.

Based in Guildford, but travel throughout the Guildford and Waverley boroughs will be required for the role.

Voluntary Action says: “Are you passionate about making a difference to young people’s health and helping society recover from the pandemic?”

The job will entail supporting the uptake of Covid-19 vaccinations among younger people (aged 16-25).

For those interested in health promotion, this opportunity might be an ideal starting point for you to transfer your skills to a new work setting.

The salary is £26,600 pa for 35 hours a week, but a job share will be considered for the right candidates.

Closing date for applications is Sunday, March 20.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified by Tuesday, March 22.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday, March 29, face to face at Voluntary Action’s office at 39 Castle Street, Guildford GU1 3UQ.

If Voluntary Action receives sufficient applicants it may close earlier than March 20.
