Letter: Be Sure to See the North Street Development Exhibition and Have Your Say

From: Tony Rooth

R4GV borough councillor for Pilgrims

I would encourage all Guildford residents, visitors,  their family and friends to visit the drop-in exhibition tomorrow Saturday, 6 between 10am and 2pm when details, plans and models of the proposed North Street Regeneration will be on show.

The developers, St Edward, are currently holding only two further face-to-face exhibitions: Wednesday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 17, both at 5 to 8pm.

The exhibition events are being held at Dominion House, on the corner of Leapale Road and the bus station exit.

But the proposals provide for no affordable housing and include major changes to the configuration of the bus station.

Not everyone views news via local media so please spread the word and recommend attendance at the exhibitions to friends and associates to allow them to see what is planned and express views.

I am not on commission from the developers, only interested, as a democrat that the public is given every chance to see what is proposed for North Street and have their say.

More information and details can be found at: www.northstreetregeneration.co.uk.
