From Chris Pegman, vice-chairman Guildford City Football Club
Guildford City Football Club has just completed a successful first season back in the Southern Football League, back again in the prestigious league that the original Guildford City graced for over 50 years until 1974.
The current club has a small committee of volunteers who are striving to ensure we survive in a very competitive league. However we do need some help. We desperately need football enthusiasts who have marketing or project management skills to join our committee.
Ideally we would also like to welcome on board a current or retired businessman or woman who could take on the chairman’s role. We would not necessarily be looking at any new chairman to invest money into the club, an investment of time and leadership is what we are really looking for.
If any football lovers with the skills we need would like to join our very friendly and forward- thinking football club or indeed would just like some more information, then we would like to hear from them either by letter to me, Chris Pegman, 107 Weston Road
