Letter: If the New Testing Centre Causes Gridlock I Will Eat My Hat

Published on: 30 Apr, 2020
Updated on: 30 Apr, 2020

From Simon Gimson

Former county councillor for Shalford

In response to: Why Have They Chosen Onslow Park & Ride for Covid-19 Testing?

It is difficult to know where to start with Celia Woodward’s letter.

The new centre has good access from A3, very little traffic at the moment, (newish) traffic lights to manage flow, an unused car park, and is well away from houses etc.

If this causes gridlock I will willingly eat my hat!

Simon Gimson’s hat seems to be safe.

Looks like nobody is turning up for testing at all.

So where are all these people who are supposed to have symptoms?
