In response to: Tunsgate Quarter Delayed – Opening Postponed to February
Great to hear about the, “desired ‘art-deco’ aesthetic the project is centred around,” and the, “highest specification” and that we are to, “enjoy the best quality experience in fantastic surroundings with a great choice of shops, cafes, and restaurants”.
But where is Tunsgate Man and will he be reinstated as a tenant in the new Tunsgate Quarter? Where is he spending his much-earned rest?
Surely there will be a place for him. We can’t be the only locals who miss him!
I attach a photo of him in 2012 with his modesty preserved by the “must-have” fashion of the year.

Also, the Edward and Eleanor sundial? I hope it will be going back up.
Editor’s note: When we interviewed the developers, some months ago now, they said that it would be.
